Only 1 Garage Door Light Works

I have just replaced the logic board and receiver assembly which includes a new light socket and that bulb does not come on.

Only 1 garage door light works.

Sometimes having more than one garage door opener in a garage can be the problem. The bulb on that side did not come on before i replaced the assembly either. The problem could lie with the receiver logic board. One contact runs down the side of the socket and the other is at the bottom.

Over time these brass contacts will flatten causing the connection with the light bulb to be intermittent. As if winter isn t depressing enough it s even worse when you walk into the garage at 6pm and the garage door light doesn t work. Use the remotes to test for range issues.
